Charlestown water filtration system becomes 1st in Indiana to remove ‘forever chemicals’ from drinking water
The tanks are a $6 million upgrade to the city’s $16 million filtration plant, built by Indiana American Water in 2022.
It comes ahead of the Environmental Protection Agency's 2029 deadline requiring limits.
