The checkering design can be simple or fancy, traditional or modern. You can send me the pattern that you prefer, choose one from my "Patterns" page, or leave the design up to me.

Usually I work borderless, meaning that the checkering comes right up to the outline of the pattern, but I can add an extra border at your request, for a minimal fee.

The larger the checkering, the deeper you'll have to cut to get nice sharp diamonds. If you start out too fine, it will be harder to see and correct your mistakes.
